Auditing services

The DGRV is the legally responsible auditing association for its cooperative members. Our auditing work is concentrated on the central cooperatives, including predominantly financial institutions, trading and service cooperatives, as well as the computing centres. The DGRV also carries out annual audits required by the Commercial Code for members operating under the legal form of AG (public limited company) or GmbH (limited liability company).

Universal auditing range

The DGRV carries out due diligence audits, in accordance with the compulsory cooperative audit regulations, annual audits at financial institutions (including securities and investment service auditing), consolidated accounts audits and further voluntary audits.
The auditor’s task is always to monitor the economic conditions of the accounts, annual financial statement and management, as well as their adherence to the regulations. Additionally, the DGRV carries out special audits, e.g. for the Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken e. V.( National Federation of German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks – reg. assoc.), the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) or individual companies. These audits are concerned with organisation, profitability, credit-worthiness, restructuring and delinquency.
Furthermore, the association performs company valutions and writes reports, particularly in the context of new foundations, changes of corporate form and liquidations. In the case of all these services, the DGRV cooperates closely with the DGR Deutsche Genossenschafts-Revision Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft GmbH (German Cooperative Auditing Society).
